As a native of the Black Hills of South Dakota I attended the University of Notre Dame and graduated with a Business Finance degree.  My first career stop was as a sales associate for a capital equipment manufacturer and distributor.  From there I worked in the gaming and entertainment industry in South Carolina where I first obtained my real estate license and appraisal designation.  In that capacity it was my duty to conduct commercial property valuations for my employer.  It was a great learning experience, and one that I feel gives me an advantage over agents that don’t have appraisal experience.

Immediately after returning to the Midwest I found myself in charge of a multi-division, small business corporation.  At one time we had 75 full time equivalent positions engaged in commercial activities including catering, home entertainment retail, industrial coffee service, wholesale electronic parts, and family entertainment.

In my career it has been my good fortune to have worked alongside pioneers and visionaries in more than one industry.  And, each of my career stops has been a valuable one from which much has been learned.
